Current Resident: Wilburton is the sweet spot in Bellevue, especially for families. Close-in to downtown and easy to get to the 405, 90, and 520 - and to light rail, from 2023. Excellent elementary school feeding into Chinook and Bellevue High. Hundreds of acres of parks, including the Botanical Gardens, Wilburton Hill, and Kelsey Creek Park. Yet still easier to buy or rent than neighborhoods west of the 405, which are fairly similar in character but much much more expensive.... Read 5 reviews

Former Resident: I lived on Woodridge Hill for 16 years. It's a wonderful neighborhood for families with children, as it's a close knit community in a great school district. The homes and common areas on Woodridge Hill are well maintained. It's centrally located with easy access to downtown Bellevue (5 minute drive outside of rush hour), the airport, and Seattle. There are a lot of job opportunities close by in Bellevue. Including: retail, food service, medical, professional, and technical. The technical job market is very good in Bellevue. The nightlife in Bellevue has improved quite a bit over the last 10 years and will only continue to improve.... Read 4 reviews

Current Resident: Living in Crossroads has been a very positive experience. With many trails, parks, and walkways, it is definitely a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. I also feel very safe walking around as there is usually lots of other people on the streets. It is also one of the more diverse neighborhoods in the area, especially around the Crossroads Mall. There is no shortage of amazing multi-cultural cafes and restaurants that are always busy at night. Public transportation is also really good in the area with the B-Line bus service. You can go from Crossroads Mall to downtown Bellevue in under 20 mins. The only "negative" which I've seen recently has been the rush-hour traffic which is a result of so many people moving to the area and it makes commute times way longer than they used to be even ten years ago. Expensive housing prices aside, overall, it would be a great place to raise a family.... Read 8 reviews

Niche User: I think my only complaint about the police department is that when they ride motorcycles they do have on their helmets but proper ride gear can be just as important. I have friends with motorcycles who believe that they can wear normal clothing because the police do to. In any case, they police are approachable and easy to spot. Crime doesn't seem to be above average.... Read 13 reviews
