Current Resident: Extremely family friendly neighborhood. Drive down any street and you’ll see families in their yards, people walking, and kids playing. Niche User: The general atmosphere of this area is friendly, safe, and busy. The community is close, the policemen and firemen are always available and easily accessible, there tons of small businesses coming and going. If I could choose to live here again I would. However, my only complaint is that the area's ethnic and political diversity is very small. A good portion of the are is white and conservative. I believe that an are should consist of an equal mix of conservatives and liberals. With the area being in Texas, the area's current ethnic and political statistics are not of any surprise. With that said, compared to everywhere else in the country, I personally feel that this area is definitely one of the best places for people who want to be involved in a tight knit community and want to live in a small town with a touch of the big city.... Senior: Don Bosco has been the school that really brought me into reality. I started my first day as a freshman not knowing anything but going in with confidence. When I met the faculty I told them exactly that they would know my name by heart because I was going to make an impact. Don Bosco had brought the leadership characteristics out of me whether it be academically or through extra-curricular. With rigorous courses and highly developed and trained faculty and staff, they provided courses for me that allowed me to learn and apply it to my life. They ensure their students are also prepared for the real world, having an amazing corporate work study program within the curriculum. This gives an advantage to us students because we are able to build a network beyond just their high school career. The school provides nothing but guaranteed advantage upon future life endeavors.... Nearby Resident: When I attended Moss Haven Elementary and Forest Meadow Jr. High from 2003-2011, the community around the schools gave me a feeling of refreshment in my life. This is a good area for parents to get their children a high quality education The people in this area are often generous and open-minded. The Town Creek Shopping Center on Abrams Road is one of my favorite places to shop and eat, thanks to their decent prices and great customer service. All of this and much more makes this on of the best neighborhoods in north Dallas... Read 1 review

Parent: My husband and I wanted an inclusive school that would be an extension of our family, and we found that in the Burgundy Community. We made the decision to send my son to Burgundy in JK and looking back now as he is in the midst of 2nd grade, choosing Burgundy was the best decision. Burgundy is a nurturing community that fosters the whole child, ensuring life long learners. Burgundy leans into a child's individual character and ensures every child is heard and has a voice. My son loves Burgundy and is thriving. I know without a doubt that Burgundy will lay the foundation for my son's continued success, not only in his future academic pursuits, but in life as a whole!... Read 10 reviews
