Current Resident: I love the area. It’s a great mixture of homes and business. There’s lots of greenery and it’s close to the lake and edgewater park. My main issue is rent/housing costs. The rent prices are ridiculously high and keep increasing. Yes it’s a desired area and I have felt relatively safer and more comfortable living here than in other area, plus easy access to public transit and grocery is a bonus. But the cost of living for the size of apartment units is extremely disproportionate and only getting more so. I feel like this is my home neighborhood and would like to set more permanent roots but housing costs are going to force me to leave, which sucks.... Read 3 reviews

Niche User: I really enjoy the atmosphere of University Circle since I am a college student in the area. I genuinely enjoy all the things there is to do while I am on campus and would like to do something with friends over the weekend. However, one of the only things that I would say prevents University Circle from being perfect is the lack of people from different backgrounds. It seems to be the same type of people who live here. There is ethnic diversity to an extent but the problem is the lack of socioeconomic diversity. As someone from a low income family it's sad to see that the area isn't very welcoming to people of different economic statuses.... Read 3 reviews

Former Resident: This is the neighborhood my mother grew up in. While she is very active in what goes on there, there is not much for me to come back to. There is some retail there but the main businesses are in nearby suburbs. It is a good place for children and families, but as a young adult I find it diffiicult to find things to do. Although, there is plentyto do in the city. So I guess it is a good residential living place and you have easy access to 'night life'. I like having stores in the area where people know me, and the local breakfast joints (bert's and Dee's) are great. The highways are close by but do not interfer with neighborhood traveling. Close enough to get to when you want to get away. We are getting two new school buildings which will be wonderful. especially the senior high school. We got a new football field last year, so the new school will add to the quality of the neighbothood. All in all I like Lee-Miles and think it is the BEST Cleveland neighborhood.... Read 1 review
