Current Resident: I've lived in this neighborhood for 5 years and love it. The neighborhood has lots of friendly neighbors and a good mix of families, young professionals and most of the others have lived here for decades. Since the homes are older, most of the lots are larger we've seen a lot of house flipping over the past few years especially since it's right next door to Sedgefield and Dilworth. We love that it's centrally located and so close to everything, it's less than 10 mins to Uptown and the entire neighborhood is within walking distance to Southend and Dilworth area bars, breweries and restaurants as well as the lightrail. Current Resident: I have loved growing up in Providence Plantation. It is a safe community with a great school district and great people. Providence Plantation truly has a family feel to it. The neighborhood also has lots of scenery near it with the Providence Nature Reserve right behind the neighborhood. I would like to see the implementation of sidewalks in the neighborhood. Many roads have curves that are hard to see around and someone in our neighborhood recently got hit by a car due to a reckless driver. Other than this I have loved growing up in Providence Plantation and would recommend moving here to anyone.... Read 18 reviews

This area is dog friendly and has more dog owners / dog walkers I've ever seen in my life. I love that its close to everything. Overall, its a fun area to live in.
