Parent: Joining the Folsom Prep family has been an incredible experience for not only our daughter but our whole family. Our daughter is finishing her first year at school in kindergarten. She has excelled in school, moving from a pre-kindergarten to a second grade reading level. She has also learned topics in math that are well beyond what would be expected in public school for her grade. There are enrichment classes where she’s learned how to use a computer and start coding, as well as Spanish once a week. As a kindergartner she has done a research project, science fair, art show and musical performance. The teachers and staff are kind, caring, responsive. The teacher/student ratio in her class is 1:16, which creates both a strong relationship with the teacher and also the students in the class. The community at Folsom Prep is strong and connected. Each week the staff send out emails with insight into what the kids are working on and photos of inside the classroom.... Read 1 review

Parent: We have been very pleased with this school. Our daughter is a kindergartner. There is a very strong academic focus, and the results/scores demonstrate this commitment. This school is definitely on the rise. She is also receiving a well-rounded education with music and Spanish. There are plenty of extra-curricular activities. Most importantly, there is a strong sense of community among the families. It has been our experience that the parents strongly value (and expect) a great education which is being provided.... Parent: Parent of two students - one current, one just graduated. More than a school: a "community" we've been a part of since Kindergarten. Gotten better each year, and reassuring to see our kids go and leave school happy and enthusiastic every day! Very attentive, creative and engaged faculty and administration. Positive and supportive faith and values based environment. Hard to do everything as a smaller school, but what they do, they do exceptionally well. Small classes lead to a great learning environment, but naturally challenge extracurriculars and athletics. Excellent art and STEM. Interesting diversity from international students. Buildings and grounds are in great shape and constantly being improved. Our graduate will be attending one of the most competitive private HS in the region, and totally ready to go! Looking forward to launching #2. We are happy every day that we made the right decision 10 years ago. WES lives up to "Kind. Confident. Prepared." in every way.... Read 27 reviews
