Current Resident: Potrero Hill is a tight knit community in San Francisco representing an area with many new families that is similar to suburban area even though the San Francisco sky line can be seen on any block. The small businesses are run by Potrero Hill natives, and are always full of locals and regulars. It's a beautifully lovely area, where even movies/films are constantly in production. Current Resident: I feel lucky to live in this neighborhood. Lots of walkable food, stores, entertainment and parks. There is crime, especially in package stealing and car related things, but overall I feel pretty safe. The weather is great, the architecture is beautiful and the people are nice. It feels like a homey community and you can easily reach the rest of the city in decent time. Great freeway access and with the new slow streets, less crazy traffic. Feels pretty clean and is very livable. You do get some stray negative elements coming through, but overall I love it. Current Resident: The Inner Sunset neighborhood is great family oriented neighborhood. There are two public schools. Golden Gate Park is very close by. The ocean and Ocean Beach is just a fifteen minute walk. There is a farmers market and multiple grocery stores. I especially appreciate all of the small businesses offering unique services and goods. In the Outer Sunset there is a co-op grocery store which has healthy food offerings. There is a public transportation line that runs from the beach to down town called Muni. It is a reliable service with some exceptions. Currently the city is making improvements to sidewalks and roads to create a more pedestrian and bike friendly environment. Last year new trees were planted along one of the main roads, Irving street. The Inner Sunset is a safe neighborhood. One will often see families walking along the street and kids hanging out at treat shops after school. It is the kind of neighborhood one feels comfortable walking at night in.... Read 11 reviews

Current Resident: Miraloma is a great place for families as their is a wonderful elementary school nearby. There are many nearby market and stores for grocery shopping and other needs. There is also a movie theater close by and Mt.Davidson, which is the highest natural point in San Francisco which is great for hikes. The neighborhood is very welcoming and safe, peaceful night life, a 10-20 minute drive from the city without traffic, and pleasant overall. Current Resident: Wonderful area to live in. Reminds me of Mill Valley but with breathtaking panoramic views of the San Francisco . Really convenient area to the financial district, the freeway and BART, Muni bus Service . Diamond Heights Shopping center has a Safeway, Post Office, Bank of America,Cafe Etc. .Nearby Christopher Park has public tennis courts , baseball park , dog walks and children's playground.
