Current Resident: I think this is intended to represent what we call East Nashville. I have lived in Eastwood Neighbors in East Nashville for 11 years. It is very diverse, but has significantly gentrified over the past two decades. I would describe the majority of my neighbors as progressive and liberal. I love this neighborhood and only found happiness with Nashville overall after moving here. The older bungalow and Victorian homes are beautiful. Violence, shootings, and crime are still present, but should not affect you if you use common sense. The only downfall for me is how "hip" the neighborhood has become and a lot of wealthy people moving in from California and New York don't necessarily reflect the type of people who made the area cool to begin with. It's starting to resemble a Whole Foods in Boulder, CO a little to much for my taste, but to each his/her own. Overall, a great living experience and great home investment.... Read 2 reviews

Current Resident: I love that on a typical day I will see my neighbors running by with their dogs and/or strollers with their children, couples walking up the street to Red Bicycle to get a cup of coffee, or enjoying meal with the sweetest man in the world, Alphonso, at his restaurant, Big Al's Deli at the end of the block! We are a social community and I know the majority of my neighbors on a first name basis. We are also a front-porch neighborhood and I love that about us! Current Resident: This eclectic and vibrant neighborhood has many amenities that any age can benefit from. With a Central Park, library branch, and easy access to many of the high traffic areas of nashville, it’s no surprise that Woodbine is now exploding. Among the great features this neighborhood has that are state run, there is also an amazing food scene that is both diverse in abundance as well as ethnic choices. Current Resident: I love wedgewood-houston! It's a 7-minute drive to downtown or 15 mins across the bridge to East. There are tons of art gallery's, coffee shops, and bars all within walking distance. I've lived in Green Hills and East Nashville, and WH is by far my favorite place I've lived here.
