Current Resident: NCC is a diverse county with something for everyone and every age. Travel within the county is easy with an accessible bus service and well maintained roadways. There are several state parks throughout the county and all are clean and offer many amenities such as hiking, swimming, picnic facilities, horse trails, and wildlife galore.
Tax-free shopping is another benefit in NCC (and all of Delaware). There are two large malls offering a wide variety of stores for every budget. If malls are not your style, there is a shopping center or two on every major roadway. If you can't find it here, it doesn't exist!
This county is brimming with history. William Penn looks over historic Olde New Castle where history was made on the shores of the Delaware River. The city of Wilmington also offers many historic venues including churches, theatres, and family-owned businesses over 100 years old.
