Niche User: It’s a super small town with lots of back roads. Mostly everyone is friendly. The have upgraded and built an amphitheater which is super nice. But other than that the town does not have anything for kids to do other than parks that get trashed. Current Resident: In regards to West Virginia, it is quite possibly the best state in the Union! Everyday I wake up all I can think is "Why am I so blessed?", a feeling which is felt a many in this mountainous state. At first the mountains were intimidating, but now when I enter a state the lack of mountains is concerning. If you're not surrounded by mountains when you wake up, with a nice hot cup of coffee admiring your property, then what are you really doing with your life? The mountain life is magical, and I would have it no other way. West Virginia is perfect, and it is my home. I can't say I know much about the High Schools, I attended High School in a different state. The diversity isn't very high, there is no discrimination for those few minorities here. People are very welcoming and only judge by character. When it comes to life you just need to accept that not even will agree with you (which is good), and West Virginia is filled with those who peacefully discuss there opinions!... Read 15 reviews
