Current Resident: Tulsa is a great city! It has all the things you like in a small town and big city in one. The people are friendly for the most part. The addition of places like The Gathering Place and Mother Road Market have begun to bring out more of what Tulsa has to offer. Hopefully Tulsa continues to add more developments like these and continue their support for small businesses. The school systems definitely need improvement. Downtown and midtown have an eclectic choice of nightlife, but nothing that stands out among them all. The citizens of Tulsa are not the healthiest, but there is hope for improvement with more outdoor activity places such as The Gathering Place. Safety is a bigger concern in more places than others, but there are many city projects aiming to better neighborhoods. Diversity throughout Tulsa has exploded over the recent years, and most people seem to feel free to be themselves.
