Current Resident: NCC is a diverse county with something for everyone and every age. Travel within the county is easy with an accessible bus service and well maintained roadways. There are several state parks throughout the county and all are clean and offer many amenities such as hiking, swimming, picnic facilities, horse trails, and wildlife galore. Tax-free shopping is another benefit in NCC (and all of Delaware). There are two large malls offering a wide variety of stores for every budget. If malls are not your style, there is a shopping center or two on every major roadway. If you can't find it here, it doesn't exist! This county is brimming with history. William Penn looks over historic Olde New Castle where history was made on the shores of the Delaware River. The city of Wilmington also offers many historic venues including churches, theatres, and family-owned businesses over 100 years old. Parent: I love everything about Templeton Academy! They are very supportive of my son's challenges and provide it when needed. The teachers are team players with the parents as well. The project based curriculum is awesome! It gives the students the chance to learn to work as a team and also use critical thinking skills. The class schedule is unique as well where the student will take 2 courses per semester for 10 weeks and still get all their required credits. Even though school is virtual right now, my son has met some friends. Oh and the class sizes are nice and small. Another thing I love about Templeton is how they praise the accomplishments of their students. My son is featured on their social media pages for winning 2 scholarships for being a philanthropist. I highly recommended Templeton Academy for a middle and high school choice. You won't be disappointed!... Read 28 reviews

Parent: The Admissions department made the application process seamless. They were easy to reach; gladly returned phone calls and inquiries; and, assisted with the application process during each step. Compared to other independent college prep institutions, RMA is a small school. However, we were thoroughly impressed with the diversity that we saw during the summer camp program; We were pleased to see that it carried over to the academic year. The curriculum is rigorous. The staff is caring. There are a variety of extracurricular activities that are day and boarding inclusive.
