Niche User: As a college student from a small town, Boulder is a very nice area to be! I enjoy the nightlife, although make sure to stay away from The Hill area if you are not fond of loud sounds and lots of people during the night. Because Boulder is a college town there are lots of students running around doing whatever they want. If you look past that though, Boulder is incredibly beautiful and there are lots of places you can go inside the community to get away from obnoxious people. Current Resident: Overall my experience living in Colorado Springs has been great. There is a large diversity here from all the military bases. Which keeps a great flow of people and culture coming in and out. The culture is more open and caring. There is obviously it's bad spots like any city. The best part I find is all the wonderful parks and trails around with the great fishing spots. There is so much to do outside and they upkeep with parks and trails. The schools are great and there is lots of great hidden gems. our daughter is in school here and they have helped her immensely when she was struggling and she improved so much.... Current Resident: I love Aurora! I've lived here for about 10 years and it's treated me so well. The community is very friendly and everything needed is so near by. Areas are very clean and maintained. I enjoyed the public schools here, even though the safety isn't the best in them. I wish mental health was advocated more all around, and wish they weren't so harsh and strict on students. Some rules have gotten very excessive. Otherwise they're great with student involvement, courses and events. There are activities around the area too but not many.
