San Antonio
Current Resident: San Antonio is where I grew up, and in my eyes, this place is great! The obvious tourist locations are the River Walk and the Alamo, which features amazingly delicious food, some good ole Tex-Mex, as well as rich history, from the valiant battle of the Alamo to the haunted hotel right next door. The missions around town are also great for learning more about Texas history. These places, alongside The Pearl, are great places to stroll through and hangout with family and loved ones. Generally, most Mexican places will be top-notch, and there are also a diversity of other food places too, from Vietnamese restaurants, like Pho Viet, to Chinese ones, like Golden Wok. One change I hope to see is in the urban and road development. Currently, the traffic problem is getting worse, and I'm worried the development of a multi-lane highway on 1604 will only lead to worse traffic as is in Houston with their multi-lane highways.
