Current Resident: Cedar Rapids is an eclectic place. Regarded as a fairly safe city and surrounding areas, it is a good place for families to reside. There are also several surrounding area schools, so parents have many choices where to send their children to school. Cedar Rapids also has several things to do. Many concerts and events are held at the local U.S. Cellular Center and McGrath Ampatheater all throughout the year, so many to choose from! Local seasonal events are held all throughout the year, such as the farmers market, St. Patricks day parade, Winter parade, and many more. There is always something going on, with many local restaurants, shops, and events, there is something for everyone in Cedar Rapids!

Current Resident: Des Moines is completely different to where i originally came from: New York, Bronx! I'm about to hit 5 years here on August 4th, and I've gone through a lot of things here both good and bad. When it comes to wanting a life that is much more simple, quieter and a place with an average cost of living then Iowa is actually nice! I like the people here and DUE to the people here I was able to calm down from being the very hostile New Yorker to a very friendly 'Iowan'... it's nice, if I can say so myself. There's quite a lot of grass and country type of ordeals that makes going outside a lot more fun and enjoyable if you like nature as well! Des Moines is also expanding slowly so there's always new stuff that comes! And it is also small enough where they have this thing called the Iowa State Fair, it's pretty dope. Overall, Des Moines is pretty nice - sometimes it's still odd that I actually live here now, but I do, and I will make the best of it like I been doing for the past five years.

Current Resident: I love the city of Davenport, and I am still living here. I was raised in this city ever since I was born. Many restaurants are serving delicious food at an affordable price. Many small shops are worth going to as well. Davenport would also have an annual Mississippi Valley Fair! There would be concerts and a lot of fun activities. The Northpark Mall is a splendid place because there are many stores that I have went to and had a great experience! Some areas in Davenport have small businesses, and they would offer spectacular services. It is uncommon to witness a rude employee in Davenport. The only setback is that I wish there would be more sidewalks and areas for people to walk outside instead of driving a vehicle. Davenport is peaceful, so if you like places that are calm and quiet, then Davenport should be visited.
