Current Resident: I love Alexandria because it is so close to the city of D.C. We can easily be in the city for many events and not pay the high price of living in the city. Living in Alexandria gives you the feel of suburban living with the convenience of a short commute. There is not a suggestion for change as I love living there! Alexandria has walking trails for families and dogs. It also boasts great schools and thriving community businesses. There is also a nightlife scene, many grocery stores to choose from, doctors, and lovely homes. The city of Alexandria contains all that is needed to live a happy and healthy life.

Current Resident: There is so much to do in our college town! Fort Collins is home to Colorado State University and Front Range Community College, providing educational opportunities on many levels. There is an abundance of outdoor recreational possibilities as well, including many neighborhood and regional parks, fishing and rafting on the Poudre River or nearby Thompson River, hiking in Poudre Canyon, or visiting Rocky Mountain National Park just forty-five minutes away. We are also a foodie town, with many restaurants and micro-breweries, as well as home to Budweiser and the Clydesdales. The charm and history of Old Town Fort Collins captures many hearts, especially during the winter holidays light display. We have been proud to call Fort Collins home for the past fifteen years!

Current Resident: The city of Santa Clara has provided our family with many opportunities within the community. The schools within the Santa Clara Unified School District, especially Laurelwood Elementary School, have given our family lifetime friendships and allowed us to become active members within our community. We have been involved in running many events at the local schools such as California History Day, Ice Cream Social, The Nutcracker play and the school's Walk-a-thon fundraiser. To keep our local community together, in 2007 our family started holding an annual Backyard BBQ Talent Show for the local friends and residents. With my rewarding 12 plus years of volunteering in the local schools and hosting local events, I have finally found my true calling, to become an elementary school teacher!

Current Resident: There's always something to do in Lincoln no matter who you are. Downtown Lincoln is quite amazing as it's both antique, and modern. Strolls in the Haymarket are a perfect date, and concerts in the Arena are spectacular experiences. Whether it's for you, a small group, or your family, there's definitely an activity everyone will agree on. Year round is full of fun in the outdoors; from swimming to ice skating, or a nice bonfire with s'mores. Or on the rainy days, head to the theaters for a movie, or the Lied center for a performance. Football is a big deal here in Lincoln, NE, and you're bound to see husker red around every corner!

Current Resident: My experience with Thousand Oaks is that I'm a local resident of the city, from the people to the atmosphere, to the weather the city in a nutshell is fantastic! I've lived here for nearly fifteen-years and haven't looked back. A slight downside to living in Thousand Oaks is the lack of nightlight, meaning it isn't a great place for having fun late out. Lastly, something I think I'd like to be changed in Thousand Oaks is for better local transportation systems to be implemented on a regular basis, rather than a transportation system with very scarce hours.

Current Resident: Sandy Springs is definitely up and coming. Lots of new development, new parks, new infrastructure. Great selection of retail and restaurants. Only negative comment is the lack of sidewalks and connected public transit, but I know this is at least being progressed!

- City in California
Current Resident: I was born and raised in San Francisco, so for as long as I can remember, I have been playing in the parks, reading at the libraries, and attending the wonderful schools. Reading was such a huge part of mine and my brother's childhood, so every afternoon after school, and most weekends, were spent at the Western Addition library with our heads buried inside books. During the summer, if we were lucky enough to have a couple warm days, my family would pack some sandwiches and snacks and bring some towels to Crissy Field to enjoy the sunshine and freezing cold ocean. Overall, growing up in SF was a childhood I am so grateful for!

- City in Virginia
Current Resident: There is a lot of history in Virginia such as Colonial Williamsburg where you can visit the Jamestown Settlement. Virginia Beach is a diverse population due to being a large military city. We offer many tourist attractions at our Oceanfront including whale watching, parasailing, museums, and kayaking. Virginia Beach has many local restaurants using fresh ingredients grown right here at the farms in the area. A landfill turned into a mountain to fly kites on with a children's playground is Virginia Beach's very own Mount Trashmore. Finally, our neighbor cities in Hampton Roads have several shopping and site seeing venues too. There is certainly something to please every taste!

Shopping, entertainment, and most anything one desires is also abundant in most locations, even in our suburbs. Current Resident: I love Lexington, it's a small, cute city with plenty of things to do. Its the city of horses, bourbon, and the Kentucky Wildcats. I love that its a college town and I love how everyone in the city takes great pride in the University's basketball team! Its a very safe city with very few bad pockets in town. A few things I dislike about the city is the lack of jobs as well as the lack of access to vegan, organic restaurants. I also dislike the lack of public transportation and wish we had more city bikes accessible.

- City in North Dakota
Current Resident: Fargo is a city known for its friendly community, cold winters, and spring floods. The people in Fargo are generally kind, hard working, and willing to help pull your car out of a snow drift, as is often necessary. Fargo is also a city of growing entrepreneurship, political activism, and local art. Restaurants, living spaces, and entertainment are growing quickly in the downtown area, which has resulted in rising costs and gentrification. Fargo Public Schools is fantastic and has a number of opportunities for children of all needs, interests, and abilities. Overall, Fargo is a great place to raise a family.

Current Resident: Sioux Falls, SD, is a great town! It isn't too heavily populated with a lot to do. There are seasonal activities such as Great Bear for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in winter and summer there is Wild Water West water park. Summer events such as Hot Harley Nights, Summer Nights, and the Sioux Falls Fair bring a lot of outdoor activities and concerts for everyone to enjoy. There is also the Falls Park, which the city is named after. It is well lit in the winter with Christmas lights and lights on the falls that change color. There is a large variety of restaurants and fast food places for great food. The Denny Premier Center has frequent concerts and sporting events. If the sport isn't played at the premier center then it is held at the Sanford Pentagon, where a lot of tournaments are also held. If I could change something about Sioux Falls, I would get Uber so one could have a way of getting home after going downtown and drinking.

Current Resident: Scottsdale really is "the most livable city". There are shops, restaurants, and businesses everywhere you look. Convenience is right at your fingertips! Scottsdale is also a great city to go to try out new things, such as food and activities. I would also like to add that we don't see a lot of crime here and the people are friendly in general. Overall, 10/10 would recommend moving there!

Current Resident: Charleston is a beautiful place to live! Great food, great shopping, and great people. Charleston does a wonderful job of displaying "southern hospitality". Although housing is expensive is most areas, especially downtown Charleston, I've noticed that there are plenty of job opportunities and tons of upcoming neighborhoods. Charleston has some of the best public schools in the state, including Academic Magnet High School (#1 in SC) and Charleston County School of the Arts (#4), one of which I have attended.

- City in California
Current Resident: Burbank is a great city to grow up in, and a great city to raise a family. Very safe neighborhood with a small-town feel, but close enough to Los Angeles and other cities that you still get city-living-perks. All public schools are staffed with incredible educators and hands-on administrators. City center has multiple movie theatres, large mall, chain restaurants, family-owned restaurants, and boutiques. Access to work is basically unlimited; many major motion picture and television companies are based in Burbank, CA and are constantly looking to hire. Other fields of work like hospitality, retail, engineering, and childcare are also in high demand for hire. Diversity is really high compared to other cities in the area. Healthy living is heavily promoted, from farmer's markets to bike paths and public access to gyms, tracks, and pools. Overall, Burbank is an incredible place to live! Anyone would be lucky to be a resident of this amazing town.

Current Resident: I like St. Paul because it’s diverse, rich in history and has a lot of things to offer it’s residents. Home of the Como Zoo and McNelley Conservatory, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, the stunning Landmark Center, and many historic buildings! Summit Avenue is a must see for people that love old homes. The only thing that is a detriment is the high cost of rent in the Twin cities area.

Current Resident: Roseville is such a fantastic city to live in! It is perfect for people who love being outside, and for those who love helping out the environment. The Martha Riley Library in Roseville really emphasizes this with an entire exhibit dedicated to the harmful effects of pollution and garbage has on Earth, and how to conserve resources in your own way.

Works Here: Washington DC brings a neighborhood of diversity! There is so to learn from all the different ethnicity's in the area. There is always something to do in all parts; whether it's arts, eating, education, night life, sports. Not only are the folks diverse but so is the weather! You get a feel for all 4 seasons. Things I would change about DC are prices. I am not fortunate to have a high paying job so some areas and events I cannot attend. I live outside of DC due to the high prices in the city.

Current Resident: I love living in Portland. There is quite a bit of opportunity for creativity, career exploration, and yoga. Everyone loves dogs. That is very important. I am in recovery and there are hundreds of meetings here for all different types of recovery. I am lucky to live in a city with as much cultural and creative diversity. Portland can also be sad, and if you live in a non boujee area, there will be homeless camps and garbage on the street. I have recently come back from Guatemala, however and it really put some of this into perspective. Overall, Portland is great!

Current Resident: My overall experience with Houston is great. My three favorite things about Houston is there is moderate to low traffic, and if there is traffic, it's usually around the time public schools release children which is around 3 PM-5 PM. Second, everything you need is really near you. That ranges from corner stores, to restaurants, to even fashion outlets. Lastly, there are tremendous amounts of job opportunities within communities of Houston. You could lose your job one day and apply to another the very next day. Houston is the place to be!
