Scurry is a very small town, there are not many people who even know about it. I have lived in Scurry the past four years and I also Graduated from their high school and I will say that it is a very amazing community. The feeling of family and the love that is spread across from everybody is truly amazing. I would recommend scurry to anybody for anything.

Scurry, Tx is an amazing place to live. At a total population of approximately 900 residents, the "family" atmosphere is unmistakable. Everyone knows everyone, and no one hesitates to step up and provide aid when needed. When something tragic happens in Scurry, the entire town comes together to support each other. As a necessary sidenote, I must disclose that most shopping or activities are at least 20-30 minutes away. Walmart is 10 minutes round-trip, but there is not much to do right around or in the Scurry city limits. Overall, I would highly recommend Scurry, Texas to anyone.
Just a small town in between anywhere you need to go, a couple of stores, gas stations, but mostly good hearted people, but if you blink driving through our small town, you'll miss all the beauty.
