Scranton, PA has recently become my home for the past few years. Scranton has so much to offer with its precious view of the Pocono Mountains and fantastic landscape. Downtown Scranton is full of excellent attractions and contains incredible historical sites. Downtown Scranton also has a fun nightlife for young adults with great local parades always nearby. It is a safe city with friendly neighbors and a humble environment!

I was born in Long Island and moved to Scranton when I was in 3rd grade and I honestly can say that this city is one of the best environments to raise a family. The citizens are is friendly, humble, down-to earth and the population is completely diverse. There are many local up and coming businesses in the area that are opening. There is Gerritys Supermarket in the area that is a wonderful place to shop! Great prices and quality products. Very friendly and helpful employees. They are multiple restaurants downtown that is the solution in a pleasant nightlife experience. All of the essential businesses, such as the shopping centers are in close proximity to the neighborhoods and the surrounding Scranton area.
I was born and grew up here in the Electric City! Scranton is such a amazing and diverse community from the poorest to the richest, as well as, dirtiest and cleanest locations. All locations have their up and downs! I love how everything is so nearby. It is fun that Scranton and NEPA has terrific opportunities for nightlife. They are delicious restaurants (BUT pricey!). The main change I would like Scranton to have is to become treated with love. Within time I feel like Scranton will become a safer environment!
