Scott’s Valley is located near the beach, near the redwood forests, near the mountains, near the city, and still does its best to have that small town feel. Scott’s Valley has ample opportunities. It is safe and very welcoming. The people are extremely friendly and very quick to help their neighbors out.
I am a high school senior in Scotts Valley. I have felt very safe growing up here. It is easy to find things to do around Scotts Valley, such as nightlife and beaches in Santa Cruz and proximity to the redwoods of Felton. The education at the public high school is great, and the middle school was recently renovated. Scotts Valley itself also has a handful of job opportunities for young people. I would say that Scotts Valley is a great place for a family to live. I am very happy and thankful for my opportunity to live in Scotts Valley.
Surrounded by beautiful nature, the hills of trees and wild life everywhere gives this town the most amazing, peaceful atmosphere. I have only been living here for a little over a year, and I have to say it has been such an amazing experience. Small town, population of only around 11,000, however Santa Cruz is about a 10 to 15 minute drive and there are countless actives that one can do there. Not to mention the amazing beaches surrounded all around us!
