Small Town! Great School, needs new businesses! Two wineries! Hidden treasure, right off the interstate. Located close to Cape Girardeau where lots of job opportunities for healthcare and restaurant business management. Four year university nearby. Location close to Mississippi River and great for hunting fishing in the area.

I love the small town feel yet the close access to the essentials with only a short drive. You feel as if your neighbors are family. Just walking into the local gas station and everyone knows you and your family, checks in on your children and wants to know how life is, just makes you feel welcomed.
There are no words to describe Scott City, it is such a great home. Everyone is so friendly and you can always count on someone to help you out. The school district is great and has some of the best teachers. They are more like parents to you than teachers.
