The area we live in is very peaceful neighborhood. Its filled with mostly only older folks, there are rarely any younger kids in my neighborhood. No parties ever happen here. At night the only sound you can hear is the occasional dog barking at deer. We have neighborhood bible studies, or barbecue to meet with everyone. Everyone has a walking buddy. When my house got broken into, everyone helped as much as they could. It's a good neighborhood.

There are not a lot of "bad areas" in Boerne or Leon Springs. There is a trailer park area off of Ralph Fair, but it is close to the highway and also neighboring the nicest neighborhood in all of San Antonio- The Dominion. This being said, the worse areas are not so bad. Cost of housing probably starts around $150K and goes up from there throughout Boerne and Leon Springs, depending if you are buying or renting. Fair Oaks Ranch is close to a police station and is frequently patrolled by cops. This area is probably the nicest nearby where my parents and I reside.
There really isn't any crime. In the years that I have lived here, there have been 4 teen deaths. 3 from drunk driving or drivers. The cops you rarely see them even pull someone over. I haven't seen many accidents or even heard of incidents of break ins. It's a safe community. There isn't even any vandalism. The one concern I may have is the intake of drugs from my senior year. A lot of kids were drinking and smoking or doing drugs, i would have liked that to get fixed.
