I love living here. It's in between 2 major cities so... you're in it but not. It's quiet and family friendly, 10 minutes to Des Moines or Ankeny. The perfect place to call home!

I’ve lived in saylorville township in Des Moines, Iowa for the last 23 years of my life. I’ve grew up in a small neighborhood. Where all the neighbors know each other and are friendly. Only thing that I would change is that when the city grew that they compensate for the number of new residents by making wider roads to have smoother traffic.
One of the great qualities of the area is the avialability of recreation. Many parks, camping, boating, picnic, large green spaces to enjoy the outdoors.
