I like that it is a small community based town; a lot for children and families to do anywhere from the preschool playground to multiple sports opportunities for kids and even fishing and swimming. I wouldn't change a thing because I like the small community.
The town I live in is very small. You can drive in and then drive out in about 5 minutes. There is nothing to do and the people are usually grumpy, but you can catch the occasional smile. I have learned though, that is how it is anywhere you go. I have learned to love my little town and it's two gas stations. Other than the gas stations, there is nothing else that makes up my town other than a trailer park and a few houses. It's run down, but everyone seems to be doing fine. I wish that there were more for teens to do, but I'm sure that we will keep finding ways to entertain ourselves. But you know what they say, "Life is what you make it.".
The only place near my area open for exercise is the walking park. Some people take advantage of it, and some do not. Most people here do walk, but it's only to the gas station to get alcohol. Most of the people who live here drink a lot and do quite a bit of drugs. The hospital is about 30 minutes away, but the ambulance is close. I walk in my neighborhood at least once a week, but I do not consider myself healthy.
