Living out in the country is amazing, but it is also helpful living in between three large cities, including Sherman, Bonham, and Denison. The atmosphere is typically peaceful and quiet, and our schools continue to excel among other schools in Texas. Also, because of the laid-back atmosphere of our town, most of the townspeople seem to be a lot friendlier and try to help one another when applicable.
In reference to "The Andy Griffith Show," our town, in terms of crime and safety, is much like Mayberry, where the police are just like everyone else and very little crime ever occurs, if at all.
