Saratoga Springs is a cute little town with tons of variety. You’re an easy train ride to New York City or Boston, but if you like the small town life it’s for you. Saratoga offers a variety of big brand stores and small owner shops, healthy living, gyms, and ski resorts less than an hour away during the winter. In the summer it’s populated with race horse track visitors and has a lot of fun downtown shopping. The nightlife is a hit for younger adults. Bourbon street is a must do!

Saratoga Springs is a stunning Northeastern city located in beautiful Upstate New York. Saratoga is predominately known for its race track during the Summer, which draws in a large tourist crowd. For native Saratogians, the Summers may be the time to get away, since renting out your home during racing season can bring in a hefty check. For many, Saratoga Springs is the summer place to be. Although racing season is the main attraction, Saratoga has infinite Fall and Winter activities in place, especially with its close proximity to ski mountains such as Gore and West Mountain. Overall, Saratoga Springs meets all of the requirements of a suburban family friendly city, with an exceptional "small-town" feel.
Saratoga Springs, NY is a history-rich, walkable, lively-main-street city of just under 30,000 people. It is common for residents to make a day trip for a hike in the Adirondacks high peak region. It is ~30 miles away from (between) each Lake George and Albany.
There are multiple schooling options for children (public, private, religious). There is an impressive offering of activities amidst the plethora of public parks available for all ages. Farmers’ markets operate year-round and are available 3 days a week during grow season.
The main street, Broadway, is very pleasant to walk, a great place to people watch, and an even better place to dine or socialize. The arts district in Saratoga Springs is very active. Saratoga Performing Arts Center (or, SPAC) brings main stream popular musical acts, symphonies and ballet each summer. There is a thoroughbred horse race track that operates for approximately 6 weeks every summer. There are many ways to experience "the track"!
