Quiet town with a lot of history, along with a great new night life and plenty of nature around town to enjoyed by all.Prefect for a walk or a quick bite before boarding the Auto Train. Quaint shops and small town feel. Brick paved streets and many covered side walks. A lot of The local businesses of restaurants, the riverfront and events that are always taking place always gives something for friends and family to do on a weekday or weekend!

Sanford is a beautiful town north of Orlando with so many unique places for dining and sightseeing. There is a bike trail that travels through most of the town that is lovely for evening walks and weekend bike rides. Downtown Sanford has a generous number of eateries and bars that bring a fun and exciting nightlife to the area. The school district is one of the best around Central Florida which makes this area populated with many school age children and an abundance of residential neighborhoods. The traffic in the mornings and evenings can be frustrating and hectic and one thing that needs to be addressed is the amount of traffic backups in certain locations around Sanford. Overall, it’s a safe town with many amenities that I believe are attractive for people of all ages.
I have lived in Sanford for many years. It has gone through many changes, most for the better of the City. Things to do here include the Central Fl Zoo, Riverwalk, Seminole Town Center Mall and Colonial Town Park. There are two movie theatres, the newer and bigger one being Amstar. There are many restaurants including Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Ale House, Outback, Cracker Barrel, Amura, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheddars, Mello Mushroom, Carrabbas and many more. Night life is plentiful at Colonial Town Park...Dexters, Duffys, Liam Fitzpatricks and Graffiti Junktion. Many things to do here!
