I've lived in Sandy for many years, and I love the area! It has everything you need nearby with easy commutes downtown or quick and easy access to the mountains. It's a very family friendly neighborhood with lots of good people and a lot of things to do. Traffic is manageable since you aren't in the heart of Salt Lake City, so commuting is pretty stress free. I would highly recommend this area to live, especially for families.
