San Juan Reviews
I was born and currently live in San Juan, yet there is still so much to discover about this city. It is home to many diverse communities, a tourist hotspot, many historical sites and local restaurants, not to mention come of the largest shopping centers. Security is better than in other places of the island, given that it is the capital, though do watch out for pick-pocketers in the tourist areas. In areas where locals thrive, I cannot say much about public schools as I went to a private one, which I enjoyed. There are also many parks for one to play and exercise, even bring your pets! Nightlife is usually bustling, especially using the holidays. Overall, it is a decent place to live for locals, and great for tourists as well!
Just a magical city! The town is full of history and colorful houses. The colonial style makes it great for pictures. Puerto Rico is a beach lover’s paradise, and the pristine shores and plethora of attractions on the island make the US territory the biggest tourist destination in the Caribbean. You’ll walk through historic squares lined with Spanish colonial architecture, float in the waters of some of the only bioluminescent lagoons in the world, and take amazing snorkeling trips in the dazzling Caribbean waters.
San Juan is easily Puerto Rico's most diverse city in every aspect. It's the best of both worlds, where the busy, city life and the breezy, beach life unite in one lavish municipality. Whatever your needs may be, San Juan has you covered. The food here is amazing, especially since there is an incredible variety of options to choose from. The historical area, Old San Juan, is the perfect midday getaway, not to mention the fact that its colorful little houses create the perfect setting for an instagram photoshoot. From the cozy, yet tropical ambiance, to its friendly people, you're guaranteed to find your place in this beautifully unique city.
