Unique, historic, friendly. Variety of restaurant choices. Diversity. It's charm is that it represents a reality of life. Other OC areas can look all the same - same houses, same parks, same little shopping areas, same tract homes..... So if you like a real town, with real people and charm -- this place is awesome! Great location just a few miles from the beach - near the 5, PCH, and also the 73 tollway. Several excellent private schools in the area as well.

Very friendly city! Has a beautiful historic vibe to it, and has a beautiful downtown area that is very tranquil, as well as interactive. I just love all the cafes and that there are self- owned/ self-made companies.
I've lived in San Juan Capistrano my whole life. It is a nice town feel and is easy to walk anywhere instead of using the car which saves money. Amazing food and picture places as well!
