San Francisco is a very divers culture. Transportation is also very good with trains and buses going all over the city, you can also walk or bike almost everywhere.
I grew up in a suburban town called El Dorado Hills and I have to say San Francisco is quite different. One of the main reasons I chose to move to San Francisco is because of the diversity it offers. Where I grew up, the majority of the population was white and although I am partially white, I still felt like I didn't really fit in. Moving here made me feel more of a sense of belonging. After living here for a couple of years, I have felt more emerged into a culturally diverse environment. Another thing I love about San Francisco is the energy. Everyone here is friendly, unique, and accepting. I have been able to explore my sense of self as well as express it knowing I am surrounded by uplifting energy. Something I would like to see change is the homelessness problem. I know it's difficult trying to figure out a solution for something so severe but it breaks my heart walking downtown and seeing so many people struggling in a city that is supposed to provide them love and shelter.
San Francisco is a melting pot of culture, diversity, and art. San Francisco has the best night life, restaurants, theatre, and even walks at Golden Gate park or Ocean beach. Every metropolitan city has their dodgy areas, but stay street smart, and you'll be just fine. Instead, focus on opening your mind and heart to this beautiful city by the Bay full of life and art.
It is one of the best cities in America to live in. There are so many cultures that all come to sf and blend together to create a beautiful community.
It’s my home and everything you need is here. It is diverse and so rich and culture. There is something for everyone and SF offers a home to all.
With a booming economy, great weather, a world class food scene, and endless options for getting outdoors and staying active, the Bay Area leaves little to be desired in a city, other than affordable real estate.
San Francisco is a city where there are endless opportunities. It is really what you make of it and every day is a new adventure. The Financial District is like a mini New York or mini Washington DC and the Presidio has spacious grass and beaches near by.
I love living in San Francisco! There is lots of nightlife and great restaurants to choose from. The people are mostly very friendly and the transportation is very east to use
San Francisco is a great city to be from. Its has its challenges. It is one of the most dog social cities. We have beautiful beaches and bays.Over the years it has been becoming less and less affordable and the cost of living has increased. I would like to see more families being able to stay where they love and have grown up.
You gotta love San Francisco. Either good or bad, people tend to over exaggerate when reviewing or describing San Francisco as a city. It’s a beautiful place to live if it’s your style but no everyone can handle the complexities of San Francisco!! You won’t find this kind of diversity anywhere else in the world!
San Francisco is a nice place with shopping malls and great restaurants. There are also lots of places to visit such as Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, and Fisherman's Wharf.
Originally from San Diego and I must say I love SF so far. For one it’s one of the most diverse and LGBTQ accepting areas in the country. Public transportation is very neat as it makes it very easy to travel. As a student there are amazing universities in the area for my education.
Most people who live in SF were either born here, moved here to work in the tech-startup economy, or moved here to work in a service industry that exists due to the presence of the tech-startup economy.
SF is expensive, yes, but it’s similar in cost-of-living to other cities with strong economic growth opportunities like Manhattan. If you’re a city-person and you move to the SF Bay Area, really the only place that has a “city” type of feeling is SF, so in that case you’ll want to live here.
Leisure time is SF is very much centered-on personal fitness, outdoor activities, or the cafe/restaurant/bar scene. There is a culture scene and an art scene here,
If you are coming to the SF Bay Area for work, I think you should do it. Move to SF, and see how things work here.
You can find something for everybody here. Something unlike any other. growing up get a sense of identity that stands out in other places. The music, the culture, the people the food some of the best in the world

San Francisco was my first love every body so nice and they help each other too. Health care are amazing also the schools are really good. There is alot of job offering and great opportunities.
San Francisco is beautiful with amazing skylines. The weather is perfect in many neighborhoods. The Chinese food is very good. The city is clean in many neighborhoods.
San Francisco is pretty cool, in terms of weather. There are many homeless folks who live in shelters and on the streets.
I love San Francisco. Growing up in the city I never appreciated the diversity and pride that I now see as an adult. San Francisco has the best food, people, and landmarks. No matter where I go this city will always be my home.
