Salisbury Township is a small township just outside of the larger city of Allentown, PA, also located close to Philadelphia and New York City. It's a very friendly and safe area with an excellent school district. Two negatives of the area are that the city of Allentown is slowly growing out into Salisbury which used to be a very small community. The area is slowly being very highly populated, and is not quite as quiet anymore. With the growing population of the area it would be nice to see small local businesses benefit from the new influx of people.

Very small town. Everyone knows everyone. There are constantly neighborhood parties as you know all their names because of how small the town is.
I feel safe in the Township that I reside. We have a very efficient police department and availability of emergency personnel. Within the past year, an ambulance arrived at a neighbor's home in exactly 2 1/2 minutes from the time that 911 was dialed. Impressive.
