Saline is very close to Ann Arbor, MI, which makes it highly attractive. The cost of homes here is quite high due to the quality of the schools and the proximity to Ann Arbor. However, it's not very diverse. They are constantly building new homes and subdivisions currently. So it is a growing community too. I do look forward to going to a diverse college and moving to a more diverse city/community post college.
Honestly, 75% of Saline is made up of the very snobby upper class/middle class, almost like these 60 year old white people were the kids from Willy Wonka. The rest is just crime, crime, drugs. And both the poor and the rich communities are usually on something!
There is 0 to little diversity here, we know that from the ACTUAL statistics, but come here and you'll see it yourself.
The public schools are will not be good to you if you are lower class, there is a stigma around the poor community, but honestly, everyone here kinda sucks.
But not talking about the people, I do like the location of Saline, the shops, and the events that go on here.
If you're poor, or anything not resembling the kids from High School Musical, don't come here :)
Saline will do ANYTHING to look good on paper, I would not doubt this rating being taken down for being 2 stars.

Growing up in Saline, MI has been a great privilege for me. I was very blessed to have grown up in a beautiful town such as Saline. The public school system in Saline is one of the best in the whole country. As a father to a three year old child, I feel comfortable raising my daughter in such a nice town. However, night life in Saline is limited, if you are looking for entertainment, then you need to check out Ann Arbor more so instead of Saline. Most of the local entertainment like movie theaters, malls, and ethnic restaurants are offered in Ann Arbor. On the bright side, Ann Arbor, MI is only a 10 minute drive from Saline, so its very close and easy to get too.
