Saline is a very nice place to raise sheltered kids who are safe and book smart, but not a great place to grow up if you want more culture, diversity, street smarts. A huge contrast from a city like Taylor, Michigan. Although I may seem bitter about the homogeneousness of the culture here, I would not have myself or my kids attend any other public school. The schools here offer an astounding, well-rounded education that goes beyond the basics.

It's a suburb of Ann Arbor full of primary upper-middle class or rich families. The demographics are almost completely white Christian, with very little diversity.
Saline is a great place to live. There are many community opportunities to become involved in, and it is a close-knit community. It is also very safe and secure. Although it is not the most diverse place, most people in the community do, in fact, value diversity.
