centrally located to big cities but still a country atmosphere. Salem was a great place to grow up. Endeavors are underway to try to recapture some of the good qualities we used to have. It's my belief that we need to work more with the younger citizens. They don't know what they're capable of achieving if the opportunity isn't there

lived here all my life. not much excitement anymore.. Not man6 stores except dollar stores and second hand stores. No supermarket..
Salem is a great city it just needs a little more opportunity and help to grow and move forward in the right direction
