Rutland, Vdermont is amazing and beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and forests, full of animals and nature...the city is small, people's hearts are big!

I grew up in Rutland, Vermont, a city big enough to entertain, but small enough to peacefully raise a family. A city privileged to hot summer days on the lake, and snowy winter days spent skiing on the mountains and sipping hot cocoa from one of the many delightful local restaurants. A city where everything is in-between and just right. With some of the largest cities just hours away, Rutland allows you to get the best experience of both rural and urban lifestyles. As many, if not all members of the community would agree with me, I am grateful to have spent my enitre life here.
I grew up in Rutland and have been here for over 50 years. There is a great sense of community, but a serious decline in businesses, job opportunities and activities. Not a bad place to raise your children, as it is fairly safe.
