Growing up in this small town gives one time to reflect on where they've lived for 18 years. The general atmosphere of my home is sometimes suffocating, but if you meet the right people, it can become bearable. You drive through back roads of this small town with the windows down and you can think, "This is happiness." Although, the town is what you make it. I would not choose to live here again, only my family would bring me back. This area is very small, with likeminded people. There aren't many things to do (we are lucky to have a movie theatre that plays one movie at a time), and the area becomes stagnant often. Because of road construction that has been in the works at this town, I suspect more business to move into the area in the future. This might make the area more lively, but for now, Reidsville is still the same small town I've known for the last 18 years.

Housing depends on what neighborhood you reside in. The quality of housing, in an overall sense, is adequate. The houses are larger, but there aren't many driveways. There are very little abandoned pieces of property. The cost of housing is adequate as well.
Because Reidsville is small, everyone knows everyone. The sense of community is somewhat strong, and many people get along with many different "groups" at local schools.
