Royal Oak is small but has the heart of a big city. It's pretty busy but not overwhelming. Downtown there are a lot of fun small shops and restaurants you can go to. There's always something to do down there! There's so much variety too. Just downtown we have about four theatres, three coffee shops, three pizza places and countless clothing stores. There's also about three large parks in the area to relax in. It's a very safe neighborhood with a lot of schools and affordable transportation. Royal Oak truly has it all.

Royal Oak is amazing! Always something new to do! Great food when you travel to Downtown Royal Oak! Everyone you meet is very friendly, great attractions during the summer. During Labor day weekend you can attend Arts, Beats and Eats, with great music playing, great food, and even greater fun at the amusement section!
I've lived in Royal Oak my whole life. Royal Oak is a good family community. My whole family has lived in Royal Oak at one point in their life and I think tha says a lot about it. The schools have good teachers and can be very helpful. The price to live in Royal Oak is a little bit pricier than other cities around, but I think that helps keep the neighborhoods and community filled with good people. The atmosphere of Downtown Royal Oak is a great place for hanging out with family or going out with friends. Recently they have been doing improvements around the city to make it a better living environment for the citizens and lots of new homes are being bulit making it more modern. Overall the experence i've had along as my family has had, has been great. The neighborhoods in Royal Oak are just getting better, along with other thing as well. I would recommend someone to live in Royal Oak, especially if they have a family/ kids.
