Rotonda West, Florida is an amazing place that checks all the boxes of a good place to live. Great affordability and close to the gulf, pristine area with friendly people and retirement friendly as well. Lots of things to do, and close to about 5 different major airports. Cape Haze in general is bliss to live in, and the weather is amazing during winter time and summer time! In the morning and early afternoon, there won’t be a cloud in the sky! Of course, living in this area it will thunder storm or rain every day for a few minutes, but that’s nice because almost every house has a pool! Rotonda West is really a wonder to live in. I highly recommend if you are looking for an overall peaceful place to live, to retire here, or if you have a family.
Quiet golfing community with many canals, good for bicycling, fishing, boating, relaxing in your pool.
Rotonda is a nice quiet area. I am very pleased to have found such a unique place to reside. I would; however, wish there were closer grocery stores or gas stations.
Rotonda West, Florida has been one of the best places I have lived. The neighborhood's are so clean and friendly. One thing I love most about Rotonda is how we recycle to save the earth. People genuinely care about how this earth is being taken care of. Many people garden here and use trash can's to gather rain water to water their plants in times of drought. I believe that this place is truly the best!
Very pet friendly, almost every family has a pet! Not much events in Rotonda
I love where I currently live, but I do not plan on living here in the future. Rotonda is definetly an area for retired couples or families. It's very safe here, we have neighbor watch as well.
There is not much crime here. Neighborhood watch every night
There isn’t much to do if you are younger, but the beaches and location is beautiful. I feel safe living here.
This is a quaint little town. I have lived in one other small town growing up, so fortunately I am able to compare it to another setting. This town is filled with many caring individuals but one cannot stay. There is not much for someone who craves culture and variety. Diversity is rare and a good majority of the families suffer from a lower than average income. This is not to say I would choose somewhere else to grow up; there are great things on the way for this small town as the number of "Snow Birds" has been rapidly increasing each year helping to stabilize the economy. It is a safe place for young children and the new high school is the talk of the town-beautiful.
