Only 30 minutes from Atlanta, Roswell feels like a small town with big city advantages and shops! Canton street is a mile long downtown area with local shops and restaurants that are overflowing with job opportunities for high schoolers. The public high school in the area is Roswell High which has incredibly high ratings and really gives students a four years they will never forget. Roswell is overflowing with parks for new families and pets to enjoy an afternoon in the sun.

Moved here a year ago and absolutely love it! It's a safe family oriented town. The Roswell North Elementary school worked out well for our kids- it has a great community of involved parents and wonderful teachers&staff with access to the park nearby and its creek for regular natural studies field trips. The Roswell Park provides an abundance of outdoors activities, after school enrichment and sports as well as camps at affordable costs for different ages, tennis courts and a great swimming pool. If you're within RNE proximity you'll have easy access to shopping and dining as well as walkability to downtown and park. Junior sports league in Roswell are top tier. Monthly events planned - Live After 5 every 3rd Thursday of the month, with bands, street performers and kids activities; organized bike rides throughout the year as it is developing into a very bike friendly town. All in all Roswell is a big city with a small town vibe where you can get a lot of house for your money.
I absolutely love Roswell, Georgia. I grew up here and lived here from 2006-2015 when I moved to North Carolina for college. However, my parents still remain in Roswell and never want to leave. It was rated the best city in the U.S. to raise a family, and it's easy to see why--it has an incredible public school system, lovely temperate weather, driven and caring citizens and government, and all in a safe suburb only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta. I would highly recommend any families to settle in Roswell because of its social programs, especially for kids!
