Moved here a year ago and absolutely love it! It's a safe family oriented town. The Roswell North Elementary school worked out well for our kids- it has a great community of involved parents and wonderful teachers&staff with access to the park nearby and its creek for regular natural studies field trips. The Roswell Park provides an abundance of outdoors activities, after school enrichment and sports as well as camps at affordable costs for different ages, tennis courts and a great swimming pool. If you're within RNE proximity you'll have easy access to shopping and dining as well as walkability to downtown and park. Junior sports league in Roswell are top tier. Monthly events planned - Live After 5 every 3rd Thursday of the month, with bands, street performers and kids activities; organized bike rides throughout the year as it is developing into a very bike friendly town. All in all Roswell is a big city with a small town vibe where you can get a lot of house for your money.
Review Roswell
I absolutely love Roswell, Georgia. I grew up here and lived here from 2006-2015 when I moved to North Carolina for college. However, my parents still remain in Roswell and never want to leave. It was rated the best city in the U.S. to raise a family, and it's easy to see why--it has an incredible public school system, lovely temperate weather, driven and caring citizens and government, and all in a safe suburb only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta. I would highly recommend any families to settle in Roswell because of its social programs, especially for kids!
Roswell offers both character, history, nature and growth from the historic downtown, beautiful parks and growth in real estate development. Full of unique restaurants with ethic flare and diversity, quaint and interesting shops, stunning parks with waterfalls, hiking and community for families enjoying life together! Schools are excellent, there are many places of worship for all religions, and many activities for children and families. Cost of living and taxes are slightly higher than its neighboring counties.
