I think Ross is a great place to live as I have not encountered many problems during my stay. I think that the environment and community is amazing and family friendly. Not much I would change!
Ross is a quiet and rural area. You see some of the same people out and about each day which is a great feeling, because Ross is a small town also. Ross Public Schools are some of the best. Rated a blue ribbon school and in the top of the best school in Ohio, your child will get the proper education they will need. Safety in Ross is pretty good with a police station only minutes away from houses. Soccer complexes are close by for kids and parents to enjoy some family time. There, are some job opportunities available in Ross like working at a pizza place or IGA. The only thing I would change about Ross is having a large grocery store like Meigher closer than 20 minutes away. However, Ross is a great community, one you should definitely join.
I grew up in Ross on a farm. Of course, at the time, I didn't realize how fortunate I was to have acres of farmland to play on, and country roads to ride my bike around. Our schools are relatively small in comparison to other suburbs of Cincinnati, so you really get to know the other families and the teachers. Ross has grown some, and there are a few restaurants now, but would love to see a Krogers or other larger grocery make an appearance. You have Strickers Grove, a small amusement park, and also 2 farm markets in the summer. It is a great place to currently live, as well as a great place to raise a family.
