Rosenberg is a small little town outside of Houston. The schools here are pretty average, the teachers in the district are something that i love. They really do care! The safety in the city is very good! Rarely do i hear about dangerous things happening here. Rosenberg is also a place where a person would like to raise a family. The city is small so everyone knows each other. The kids all know each other and most neighborhoods are good. The house prices here are pretty average, compared to life in California houses down here are way cheaper! There's also a lot of diversity in the city. Never will you feel unwanted at a store or anywhere around town. Although there's many good things about Rosenberg the night life here is poor. There's not many things to do out here so it would be nice to see more things being built for kids and adults.
My family and have been residents of Rosenberg for 10 years now. We live here because my mom loves the area (I live with her until I'm done with school). I'm young, 22 years old to be exact. It's a good area, on the outskirts of Houston so the crime rate is low. Great schools, there's options based on where you choose to live since we have several in the LCISD. We have a shopping center, a good number of grocery stores, lots of places to eat. As a youngster, I will say that the night life is not here in Rosenberg. Houston is the place to go as far as that's concerned. If your looking for somewhere that's lowkey, not close to the city, and has just enough things to do, this is the place for you.
I have been living in Rosenberg, Texas for the last 21 years of my life and I have seen it grow tremendously, especially in the last few years here. I have seen it go from only having Chilli's and Home Depot, to now having a full shopping centre. I believe that it is an overall safe place to live, with plenty of job opportunities. My favorite part so far was being able to have Wharton County Junior College so close to home. That was one of the main reasons I chose community college first before starting my college career at a 4-year university. Apart from that, I would say that there are always plenty of fun family things do in Rosenberg and it is so rich in history!
