I love the unpredictability of businesses that surround you. Instead of having the typical restaurant after restaurant, you get a salon, tattoo parlor, trophy store, etc. Anything that piques your interest, I bet Rosemead has a business for it. Although Rosemead is not one of the cleanest cities, the ambiance it gives off is very content. Overall, this city does not limit your imagination. It's a gradually improving city that welcomes anyone that enters it.

I have lived in Rosemead since I was 6. I am grateful to live in a community with neighbors I can greet, to have attended primary and secondary school within one mile of my home, and to belong to a very inclusive, diverse community. We have fast food restaurants and mom and pop restaurants nearby each other. I feel safe in my community. Although public services could be better tended to and small crimes could be reduced, Rosemead is a fairly well off area. We have people from both low and high income families here who get along with each other just fine. For example, I myself am from a low income family, while one of my best friends, Hailey, comes from a high income background. Our financial differences don't negate the fact that we are very close friends who rely on each other for emotional support and friendship.
Growing up in Rosemead, CA has been a delight. When I think of Rosemead, I think of the memories of all the good times with my loved ones. Just like everything else, there is always room for improvement. I strongly believe our public schools need more government funds in order to give our students a better educational experience. In addition, the residents of Rosemead deserve healthier food options. These are two necessities that will help our residents live a long, happy life.
