Roselle Park Reviews

I lived in Roselle Park for over 4 yrs now and my experience so far has been great. Most of my neighbors are friendly. I say mostly because my next door neighbor appeared to be disappointed that a black family moved next door to them but I think once they realized I up kept my property they became a little more friendly. It’s a small town so you mostly run in to some one you know in the park, store or on school property while waiting for your little ones. The houses in the neighborhood for the most part looks decent but some of the 2 family houses are starting to look like Newark. I love the diversity in this town. It appears though Roselle Park is experiencing “white flight”. The town has good programs for the children. The schools are good. There has been an uptick in theft but overall I feel safe here. Transportation is excellent because it’s close to bus, train, airport and major highways. Needs more restaurants though and should reopen the movie theatre on Westfield Ave.
Nice area with the basic stuff such as restaurants, Dunkin Donuts, bagels, bakeries, and grocery stores. This borough is more of a neighborhood and it is one of the most densely populated municipalities in the United States, even for Union County, New Jersey. You are always walking distance from the train station to go to Newark and New York City.
Roselle Park is a small town but very convenient to everything- NJ train & NJ Bus to New York City. Schools are very good. There are many kinds of sports available in the school system- basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, wrestling & marching band. It is close to the airport & to major highways. The only improvement would be it needs more restaurants.
