I like the open area that romeoville has it's nice a quiet. I would like the stores to be a bit closer but overall everything is peaceful. The school's are good and everything is well kept. I have not come across anything dangerous during the time I have been living here so I give it a go! The neighbors usually keep to themselves and sometimes they come out for a a quick chat. Nothing to complex other than a "hi" or "how's it been", you Know the usual but I really like the area hopefully this helps others when trying to find a new place to live fully recommend!

Romeoville is quite honestly, the best town I have ever lived in! I have moved around a lot in my life and Romeoville has the only place that has felt like home right away. The neighbors are so kind but not only that, this town is a bit small so when you go to the stores or restaurants, people actually know you. I have never had any complaints about noise or construction. The neighbors keep noise down and if they ever have parties, they let us know. We have a warehouse behind our home and when the workers go on break, they are very respectful to keep the noise down, especially 2nd and 3rd shift workers. Overall, this town is wonderful!
The friendliness of the people in the community is what I most appreciate about Romeoville, Illinois. Like most communities, we have a group on Facebook and people post their concerns, needs, and appreciation of others. Today the posts were filled with comments of appreciation for the rapid response our city workers provided when cleaning up after a large storm. Recently the group was made aware of an elderly gentleman who returned to his empty home after a lengthy hospital to find that his home had been flooded and his furnace, plumbing, and laundry machines were in disrepair. It wasn't long before people donated enough time, skills, and money to get his home in good condition. That's the mark of a good community!
