Rome is a quiet town founded post-revolution. Not much goes on here other than the occasional parade or firework show, so if you are looking for a place filled entertainment, this is not it. But, if you are looking for a more relaxed, family-friendly environment, you will enjoy it here.
A few complaints about Rome would be its schools, infostructure, and lack of job opportunities. I would love to see a focus on improving those essential issues, rather than the current focus on superficial and obscure things. Rome has the potential to be exceptional, given the chance and proper leadership!

Rome is a small city that reads as a town. Over the past few years, Rome has ramped up the beautification upgrades and the city seems to be turning around. New local cafes and stores have opened; they seem to be doing well in a city that used to only have corporate big box stores and lack of artistic culture. The parks have been improved immensely.
More opportunities needed for younger generations needed. Additionally, more social/leisure options would go a long way towards attracting and keeping younger families.
