Working in Rollingwood
Rollingwood is a neat little suburb right outside of downtown Austin near Zilker park. All of our neighbors are very friendly, but the community vibe could be stronger with more sidewalks. However, as our city, complete with a mayor, is 400 houses, the police are very reliable. Overall, the location could not be better as I am able to walk to Zilker Park and the running trail on my days off, or for ACL Music Festival, an increasing popular music festival in October.
This is a fabulous community, but this article is BEST PLACES TO RETIRE in Texas. The average home price is over $900,000, so how is that good for a retiree? This article has zero credibility.
