Rollingwood is an upperclass neighborhood. The prices of a house here are some of the most expensive in the state of Texas. That being said the public schools are really good for this neighborhood (as they should be for the price tag). The people are friendly to the right people ( a lot of richy rich kids). The neighborhood is extremely close to everything in Austin but without the shitty neighborhood traffic. It’s also a very conservative area which is to be expected in the Austin area.

Rollingwood is a neat little suburb right outside of downtown Austin near Zilker park. All of our neighbors are very friendly, but the community vibe could be stronger with more sidewalks. However, as our city, complete with a mayor, is 400 houses, the police are very reliable. Overall, the location could not be better as I am able to walk to Zilker Park and the running trail on my days off, or for ACL Music Festival, an increasing popular music festival in October.
Everything about Rollingwood needs to change! Very corrupt and selfish city council, families here are terribly rude.
