Rolla is a safe community with so much natural beauty surrounding it! You really get that small town vibe with kind of the bigger city vibe! Rolla is very clean, affordable, and beautiful. We have Univeristy of Missouri-Science and Technology here, so that is unique to Rolla in itself. Rolla takes such pride in our high school, and supports the high school very well. Rolla is a great place to raise a family, work, relax, and have fun!

Rolla is a town of about 20,000 people and is home to Missouri University of Science and Technology. We have 3 grocery stores, several retail shops, and quite a few restaurants that run the gamut from McDonald's to Arby's to Japanese and Thai (oh, and the BBQ and steak houses. Yum!). Due to the college in town, and the Army base 30 minutes down the interstate, we have a fairly diverse population, although still predominantly caucasian.
I moved to Rolla , Mo about two years ago. I was a resident of the Russell house which is for abuse women and children. I felt like they didn't want to help me. I really needed help I was 49yrs old with a 1 year old they treated me I wasn't even their client they put me out of the Russell house because of what another lady said and eventually they found out that the lady lied and had stolen from other residents. me and my baby had to sit in a park no where to go. G.R.A.C.E refused to help me because of the situation with the Russell house. but 2 years later, I finished my Medical assistant program at metro business college where they showed difference in student I didn't let them make me quit. I finished, got a job , a car, and I got an affordable apt. and my daughter now is in head start and I am going back to college to get my degree in Criminal Justice to try to make a difference not only in Rolla but where it's needed. Thanks to Rolla they made me a better person and stronger.
