Rogersville is a small town with tucked in between the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. It is blossoming and growing a little every year. The nearest mall is 30 minutes away. Knoxville is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away and Johnson City is 1 hour away. You can get to Pegion Forge in 1 hour and 15 minutes. North Carolina can be reached in 2 hours, Kentucky can be reached in about an hour, and Virginia can be reached in a little over an hour. It's in a perfect location if you don't mind the drive. It's a wonderful place to be raised because you will grow up with good values. Sometimes the adolescents in the community tend to be snobby. This is not always the case! There are so many wonderful people in Rogersville. Just be careful and don't get involved with the wrong crowd. A lot of the community is close minded, but you just have to learn to ignore the rednecks. I'd say that the good outweighs the bad in this town.

The only big thing to do in Rogersville is the City Park to play basketball or play at the park or Walmart. There's nothing over here to do at all. I wish they have something fun in Rogersville for the little children's who like to play. Rogersville have a good and bad side. The good side of Rogersville is you have a good family and friends around here that you will help you out no matter what. The bad side of Rogersville is all the drugs and troubles. No matter where you turn, there's trouble over here.
