Rocky River is a great city that once use to be filled with residents that have had generations live there, but now there is a younger family crowd starting to come in. This is great for the community to see how the city is changing with time because it is shifting from so called "old money only" to a younger, fresh crowd of residents. The public schools are awesome, nightlife is usually in Lakewood, Ohio, but there could always be more diversity. It is a predominately white middle to upper middle class, so there could more diversity with the new families and couples that are moving to the area.

Rocky River is an amazing place for people of all ages. The location of this town is exceptional, with being right on the lake, being 20 minutes from downtown and have the metroparks opposite the lake. With this comes endless coffee shops and restaurants, westgate mall, downtown river, and many parks and recreational centers as well. The schools are rated top in the state every year for its outstanding academic achievement and there is very little crime that takes place here. Although this town is not diverse at all, it is a very nice and secure town to live in, very friendly. Mostly Christian churches but many options religiously as well. Overall, I would not have wanted to live any where else during my childhood.
The location is excellent. It is close enough downtown for attending any sporting, concert, dining, etc. but get to live in an suburb environment. I am in walking distance of the beautiful metroparks which has nice running trails. I am also in walking distance of a small beach in which I can enjoy Lake Erie. The school systems provide an excellent education. The crime rate is low. There are great places to dine locally such as Burntwood Tavern, Sweet Melissa's and the Mellow Mushroom. The movie theater has reclining seats and a bar for a relaxing night at the movies. Two excellent grocery stores- Heinens and Whole Foods make it easy to eat healthy. One of the best ice cream stores ever- Michels so you don't eat too healthy.
