Rocky Point Reviews
Inclusive community, I like how quiet my neighborhood is. Yet there is always something for me to do outside!
What I like about Rocky Point is it’s a small community where you have the chance to know most people in the town. I also really like that the school isn’t overly large keeping class size to a smaller amount. I like that we are also right by the water, just a short bike ride or walk from really anywhere in town. Some things that could be improved are cleanliness, as far as trash on the side of the road.
Rocky point is home of some of the best restaurants on the North fork of Long Island. The town's quaint downtown shopping area supports many local businesses that have serviced the community for hundreds of years. Rocky Point is home of the RCA Radio Central Complex, which was built after WW1 and sent the first wireless telegraph signal, changing the way the world communicates. Before it closed in 1978, it was the largest communication tower in the nation. Rich in history and culture, growing up in Rocky Point has been a great experience. I am choosing to live at home while attending college so that I can continue to be a part of this community. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
