Rocky Hill Reviews
Rocky Hill, as a borough, consists of mostly elderly homeowners who have resided here for decades and are retired. There are young families of which the parents work at pharmaceutical companies or in local business. Merck, Johnson and Johnson and Bristol-Meyers Squibb are large companies at which many parents of children in Montgomery Township work. Many people are doctors, engineers or have professions relating to computer science. Montgomery Township is home to many successful and affluent families as a result. The job market is not too terrible, however the most available jobs offer part-time for young teens at movie theaters, ice cream shops, grocery stores or the fitness center.
In Montgomery, which is located right next to Rocky Hill, there is an abundance of stores however there is about one of everything. There is one large grocery store, one movie theater, one shoe store, one hardware store, one hair salon and one large fitness center. Since Rocky Hill also borders Princeton, there is an even greater abundance of resources there as well. The University serves as a great location for several successful shops on Nassau street, all of which are about a 15 minute car ride away.
This is a really great area to live and I'm lucky to have been here all these years. Its a great atmosphere with many restaurants and things to do. Its a small town so everyones very close and neighborly. Overall very safe with excellent government and resources.
