The town of Rockwood is very quaint and friendly. They have several small business scattered along the main street of the town as well as a large manufacturing plant in the town. The public school is full of great educators. Being such a small town, the student receive the one-on-one time with the instructors unlike in larger towns. There is a drug problem in the local areas which does sometimes spread into the small town, but is not overwhelming and does not seem to pose a threat to the town. Despite this, I feel the town is still very family friendly. Being a small town, there are very few activities in the immediate area. This area is very conservative. There is a lack in diversity.
It is very quite and everyone knows everyone. I would not change anything. The schools are very good the teachers are very helpful. The nightlife is very quite.
Rockwood is a very small, tight knit, rural community. Crime is low. The education system in Rockwood is Excellent. However, I would like to see more businesses flourishing in the area. The scenery is absolutely stunning.
